Q: Do you support the VoteMatch statement, “Immigration helps our economy-encourage it”?

A: Yes.

Q: What to do about the border fence?

A: No to a border fence.

Q: About the 12 million undocumented workers here?

A: We need to have dialogue dealing with the facts and the truth and without racism being involved on any level.

Q: And about the McCain-Kennedy bill?

A: I think this bill was well intentioned, but was not the ideal solution. This issue will take time to resolve.
